Mike Brown to compete in Mini Moto SX

Tennessee's Mike Brown has inked a deal to ride a Thumpstar pit bike in the upcoming Mini Moto SX scheduled for May 6th at the Orleans Arena - the night before the final round of the AMA Supercross Series - in Las Vegas.

The deal was put together by Deland Motorsports in Deland, Florida, and Brown is excited about making a good showing for Thumpstar in the second running of the Mini Moto SX. "The pit bike deal is really taking off, and they're so much fun. I've got a track built especially for pit bikes at home, and I can't wait to get to Vegas and do the Mini Moto SX - it should be a total blast."

Andy from Deland Motorsports was looking for a way to promote the Thumpstar line, which they sell at the dealership, and jumped at the chance to get involved with Brown, the 2001 125 National Champion.

"The bikes are really good, and we were thrilled that Brownie wanted to get on a Thumpstar and battle in Vegas. He's always been one of my favorite riders, and it will be great to see what he can do on it. The bikes are super-trick, and Kyle from Pro Style Graphics came up with some really cool graphics - so they look as good as they run."
